This is a basic carbine course for those who have little or no formalized training with the carbine. AR15 or AK style weapons are required.

  • Review Seven Elements of Marksmanship
  • Nomenclature, Malfunctions
  • Positions: Standing, Kneeling, Prone, Close-Contact
  • Reloads: Speed and Tactical
  • Turning Drills 90 Degrees and 180 Degrees
  • Sling Techniques
  • Care and Cleaning

  • Functional Carbine M4 Type or Sub-Gun or AK Permitted
  • Five Working Magazines
  • Load Bearing Vest or Thigh Magazine Pouch Permitted
  • 500 Rounds of Ammunition
